a few years ago...
I was sick and discouraged. I developed horrendous acid reflux, constipation, and other digestive issues after a doctor gave me unnecessary antibiotics for a sore throat. It was a stressful year and the antibiotics were the straw that broke the camel's back. I was miserable. Doctors didn't know how to help and they gave up so easily! They shrugged their shoulders, wrote a prescription to suppress the symptoms, and said goodbye.
I felt alone. I would have given anything to hear someone say,
"I'm in this with you...
we will figure this out."
I was determined to take my health back, even if I had to do it alone!
After much research, I decided to become a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner so I could heal myself and help as many others as possible. My health and nutrition began to improve, but then I hit a plateau.
That's when I began to understand the important role emotions and trauma play in our physical health. The antibiotics and stress were simply the last straw on top of layers of childhood and generational trauma. Once I started addressing the underlying emotional root causes, my healing journey turned a corner.

these days...
I'm an FNTP, CBCP and a MFT practitioner who truly understands the importance of taking a whole-picture approach to helping clients. I am determined to find answers for those who are frustrated with their health journey and are ready to heal. We will uncover and address the root causes, from nutrition to emotions, energy, and lifestyle. I want to be an advocate for those who feel like I once did. I know how it feels and I know there is hope!
a bit more about me:
I grew up in sunny Southern California and moved to Portland, Oregon with my husband in 2013.
I love interior design, laughing, long talks with close friends, eating all the food in Portland, and anything outdoors!
In addition to being an FNTP/CBCP, I am trained in Morphogenic Field Technique, muscle testing, and neuro-nutrition therapy. I have a BS in Biological Sciences and a Certificate in Interior Design. I've previously owned a professional organizing business, done freelance photography and writing, and spent many years working for a non-profit mentoring teenagers.
I believe my purpose in this life is to walk with people through hard times and to help them heal. It has taken on many forms throughout the years, but the calling remains the same.
